Lazy in Laguna Beach

Sometimes a quick drive along the coast is the easiest answer for an unplanned vacation in exchange for desperation. We found our slice of the easy life along the shores of Laguna Beach, coming complete with a European accent.

We stroll through the neighborhood every morning, late in the day, and again in the dark of night guided by the full moon, that is coming on fat and strong.

We stop by the Laguna Nursery for some gardening inspiration, for when we become ambitious.

We eat like never before at Sapphire Laguna where Brunch comes to us as a Surprise in a Box at Sapphire for those of us you are too tired to decide.

We skimmed through stacks of beautiful photo Books, and managed some good Summer reads.

Is that the hotel with the bar on the roof? I stayed there a couple of years ago, very nice. Laguna Beach does have a European touch! Even right down to the red phone box :)

What a fun time!

Solanah: I believe you are thinking of the old Hotel La Casa del Camino
http://www.casacamino.com/ which is all view, all the time...
And is now home to K'ya restaurant, which I so want to try but, they were having a private party the other night when we arrived.
Be well.

Fantastic photos! It looks just like a little place we discovered in Ireland, definitely has that European touch. Will keep this in mind for our next trip west.

Per Ramona:

The house at the top was built in 1929. It is know as Bette Davis house, she owned it in the early 40's.
