Kiss Your Kidneys!

Once again some of the simplest foods on the planet and we still are not quite sure what to do with them. How to eat them. Why to eat them. They are a bore, a snore...and yet they cry out to us with adoration as we pass them by and still ignore.

Red, white, purple and black..Radishes will kiss our kidneys clean!
I set them out appetizer style, along the eastern European way, with a spread of sweet, rich butter and a dash of sea salt. You might just be surprised. This simple spread satisfies that crunchy-salty-fill-me-up-a-little-but-not-a-lot craving that creeps up on us at times.

What you don't do butter..?
So, do humus instead, even better. Just dip them as chips in dip, and enjoy.
Loads of minerals, no calories, and high doses of Vit. C...who knew? Not me.
There are so many tricks up those little radish sleeves. They push and pull and mop up all the stress and fear and toxic stuff we tend to build up and stock up and lock up in our system. They clean us up quick and quiet like. No fusing, no complaining, no worries. They crush down any stones and dissolve them softly in a "Poof".
They make our inner juices flow like no other, saving our liver and gallbladder too.
No doctors, no pills, no pain.
Life is so simple if we choose.

Yum! I love radishes! They sound so good with hummus. When I was younger I ate them the European way except I added a little vinegar! I know, I know....it sounds weird but it's very tasty...lol!

Who would of thought. I used to think they were some caveman nourishment or just a garnish.

I will definitely be trying new and different ways to eat more radishes. (Hugs)Indigo

Manon: ..vinegar..?! + butter...?!!!

Linda: Can skip the butter and do olive oil instead...to be healthier.

Indigo: It is so damn hot in L.A. at the moment, that all we want is chips and salsa, or celery and/or radish with hummus.
Cool + crispy + salty.

Not much else. Ice-fruit blendeds...
may a blog that next.

I love radishes! Never heard of eating them with butter and salt, but your talking to a girl who eats peanut butter and pickle sandwiches....so why not!?!

Cecile: I have not had a peanut butter and pickle sandwich since the 1st grade!..but it has been on my mind lately. I started eating myself so I could eat in peace but, when one of the teachers came around to keep me company, she was ready to turn my Mother in for child abuse.
I didn't enjoy it enough to defend it or take the heat on her behalf, so I gave it for good.
