A Softer Gentler Year of the Rabbit

Safari surround sound
Car windows rolled down
Ready to pounce big cat
Tap that black magic hat

Birthing softer patter paws
Bursting with quiet applause
Be still a nervous flutter heart
Begin a sweeping clean start

Fluffy baby bunny soft and warm
Finding money with ease and charm
Playing it up for fun and for free
Producing a bounty of plenty quietly

Catch a tiger by the tale
Thick fur and heavy purr
Whiskers tickle prickly lick
Rollover show us a new trick

you know teri,
i was thinking about your baby pet bunny that you lost last year....and hoping you are feeling better.
sometimes pets are harder to get over than people.
so.....when you stopped over i was thrilled.
and i see more bunnies.
i could look at bunny pictures all day.

xx renée
i had a bunny as a child

Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies...everywhere
There's bunnies on the sofa and... there's bunnies on the chair...
there's bunnies on the table and...
there's bunnies on the floor...

Oh, no!...now there's more bunnies
coming through the door.

First I had a bunny, then I had another bunny...doesn't one plus one make two??
Now, I have so many bunnies...
I don't know what to do!

bunnies hold a special place in my heart. i had one bunny growing up, the only pet my parents would allow my sister and i to have. we loved it so much and it lived 8 years which in bunny talk is very old! i like to think it lived longer than most because of all the love we gave it.
