Splish Splash Shake

See Red Bentley fly

See Blond Luke swim

See three dogs pace

See two dogs wait

See Black Lucky shake

...all over me and my camera, trying hiding behind a post!

This is what happened to our family Easter get together, following the Mexi-Cali Quake.
Hope ya'll had a rolling good time, too.

my dogs love to swim but don't get to do it too often. it's so much fun to watch them play and retrieve balls in the water. one time, kya fell in between a boat and a dock and i thought she was going to drown. i jumped in, pulled her out from under the boat and we both swam next to each other back to shore. it was scary and pretty amazing to swim together too!

My two big Akitas both hated the water. The big brown 'Scooby-doo' one Kuma, would dosey-doe her smaller black sister Kiwi, around the edge of the pool, and then hip bump her in!

Then one day she did the same thing to my very sinkable MIL in the deep end!...she walked herself, straight up, under water, until she landed at the stairs. From their the same dog, just licked her hand, grasping for dry land, with out getting close enough to get dragged in.

She be dumb but, she ain't stupid! ;P

From where we were sitting, that was the funnest earthquake...ever!

All the women sharing the same sofa, and all expecting that each is the only one experiencing a little dizzy vertigo, until each looks down at our bare feet and painted toes, to see how the same collective seat has since become one big swinging of hammock. ;P

Oh my gosh - is that your house?! It is amazing! I'm pretty in love with your dogs, they look like they live such a happy life. My dogs aren't quite as brave when it comes to water, but my girl Molly will wade into the water. She seemed curious about the pool when I was at my sister's house last week, but I feared her freshly shaved hair and 70 degree water would give her a chill, so I didn't try to persuade her.

LOOK AT YOUR SWIMMING DOGGIES! So, so adorable. The tortoise-finder, Dolly, has never seen water before; we adopted her at the desert shelter and she's never been anywhere outside the desert, so when we drive cross-country this summer I can't WAIT to see what she does when she's presented with, say, a giant lake.
