Blooming Hot Mess!

It seems we are "hot mess" these days.
Enjoying every blooming moment that arrives.
Burnt crisp from the Sun, and revived by the Sea.
Splashing around with Sea turtles and Stingrays.

Under water seductive scenes, topped by strong and sultry sunsets.
Brilliance and Genius and Virtue all hard at work on our behalf.
Happily plowing along, paving the way for easy access.
We do appreciate the over abundant after-math.

Waterfalls of creativity, pools to wander, and view tops for wonder.
There is gold dust whipped in the air,
and juice squeezed from every prickly pear.
Generosity fills our soul to that point we might burst.

We dive, we float, we swim, we survive.
We swear that there is plenty more to share.
We produce and ponder and prove to our "Self", we are alive.
We jump from high expectations of happiness; and we dare.

Ha!...that top image is taken from an old 1970's Hustler magazine, hot steamy shower scene. If you look close, you can see that her ankles are tossed over her head. ;P

And, I love that expression on her face.

Nice post and great words, Teri. Thanks for the commments.
i'm happy you have had a wonderful time in Hawaii. My GF has studied both middle eastern and hula and has been going to Hawaii every year to attain Kumu Hula. She loves it there, although I have not been there yet.
I like that top image a lot too. Well done.

So beautiful! This makes me second guess my "responsible" decision to stay home and do projects and chores vs. going backpacking - where I'll hike until I'm achy and exhausted, swim in a river, enjoy a show of thousands of fireflies, cook over a campfire, relax and truly get away from it all, and get to enjoy the simple life. It's been a long, hot, busy (but happy) summer, and I'm ready to escape to a primitive back country and contemplate life...

P.S. Love the story behind the first pic!

Lovely and poetic.. I especially liked the last thought 'We swear that there is plenty more to share.
We produce and ponder and prove to our 'Self', we are alive'... now what kind of fortune is 'Plenty'? :)
