Hot Sugar on a Sandy Beach
Hot summer sugar sand
Take mine in your hand
Thunder beating open heart
Radiant sun setting the start
Layers of love surround
Under the covers bound
Beyond vision, taste and smell
Naturally surrender a deep spell
Sleep unstirred heavy head
Wanting not more than a bed
Dreams manifest a new truth
Lazy days bloom big with you
Sunny siesta brings much relief
On a warm sugar sandy beach
Malasadas baked fresh in a box
Makes each moment rise in stocks

Eco at The Super Store
So I headed on down to the Super store
Looking for something to make me complete
I found some squeaky clean sneaks and
Some tunes that made those aisle sing.
The Sugar Hill Gang kicking in my brain
And KC tripping up the link
So I headed back home in my mono tone
Trying to think up something sweet
I trek on over to the gourmet store
To pile some more fun on my tongue
The Brownies, and pecans were calling my name
Then I spied the Sticky sauce, some black cherries
And a tub of Mascarpone cheese that got me on my game.

My Bunny Anouk
I buried my little Anouk in the front yard, yesterday.
With sand and pebbles, and stone.
Burning sage, and incense and hay.
Where she can keep her eye
on all the dogs that walk by.
Cheers!..Anouk, my funny little silver bunny. <3

Simple Settings
Simple settings we seek for retreat
We travel with a destination of intent
Yet we tend to meet in the street
We could live in the back yard tent
We cater, we barter, we crave
All for what we claim to see
We waver, we charter, we stave
All for what we think we need
We continue, we create, we compete
All in the name of survive
We talk, we sing, we fight
All for the game of strive
